Southwestern Conference

Families in Crisis

The Annual Southwestern Conference in Biblical Counseling

More than ever before, the American family is under siege. God’s design and order for the home has been undermined by a secular worldview that defines any family structure acceptable and “normal.” However, our departure from God’s Word has yielded crisis, confusion, and conflict for which, the world has no answer.

The Southwestern Conference in Biblical Counseling presents a call to the Body of Christ to reclaim and apply God’s template of order, health, and blessing for the family as the foundation of crisis prevention. Additionally, we will address the church’s response when crisis and turmoil already exist. Divorce, remarriage, infidelity, blended families, repentance, and forgiveness are among the topics to be examined in detail.

The conference is presented through the cooperative sponsorship of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Biblical Counseling Institute.
